A Barn Owl chick, ringed from a nesting box at Rutland Water Nature Reserve in July 2022 has been re-sighted in the last week in Skegness - more than 50 miles away from Rutland.

Fourteen barn owl chicks have been recorded at Cossington Meadows Nature Reserve, beating the previous record of 12 in 2019!
