The power of working together
As individuals, we all have the power to make a difference. By coming together and combining our shared passion, knowledge, and love for wildlife, we can create an even greater impact. Show your customers and employees that you care about nature by joining us in building a wilder, more sustainable future. Partnering with LRWT means being part of something meaningful that will last.
By working with us, your business can show that you’re committed to protecting wildlife and addressing local and national conservation challenges. You’ll also be engaging with local communities while naturally supporting your business goals, whether that's Corporate Social Responsibility, strengthening your brand, or simply making a positive impact.
Whatever your aims, partnering with Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust can help you get there. The support we receive from Wildlife Supporters and Partners is what allows us to continue our core work: creating more space for nature, helping wildlife recover across our counties, and empowering local communities to take action for wildlife right here in Leicestershire and Rutland.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Whether your company is interested in supporting species-specific conservation projects, wildlife events, nature reserves, community engagement projects, or wider landscape conservation work, we welcome company sponsorship to help us create an environment rich in wildlife, valued by all.
Nature Reserves
We manage 35 nature reserves covering over 1,200 hectares of rich, diverse and beautiful habitats. From woodland to meadows, wetland to heaths, our nature reserves comprise some of the most important wildlife and geological sites in the counties.
Your company may wish to sponsor the conservation work on the nature reserves, or even to sponsor a nature reserve itself – a longer term commitment of at least five years. This provides joint branding of interpretation signage on a nature reserve, a launch event, and press and communications to support the sponsorship.
Nature Recovery Projects
The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries. Our nature recovery work looks to tackle this by working with experts to re-introduce species and ensure their survival.
You can choose to sponsor one of our species-specific programmes such as those with water voles, dormice and glow-worms to name but a few, and gain special recognition through a variety of communications.
Trainee Reserves Officers
Our well-regarded Trainee Reserves Officer programme supports vocational training for young people locally, offering annual positions. All our trainees go on to further conservation roles, and by choosing to sponsor this vital programme you can showcase your commitment to not only nature, but to supporting the careers of young people locally.
Community Engagement - Access to Nature
Access to Nature is recognised as bringing multiple benefits, particularly around physical and mental health. We have been running a new and innovative project to test a way to empower communities within Leicester by creating a common ground and goal for those of different backgrounds, using access to nature as a foundation.
Your sponsorship can help increase access to nature across both counties, helping you reach new audiences.
Our commitments to you
As part of a sponsorship arrangement, we can help your company communicate your commitment to the local environment through press releases, newspaper articles, social media, and LRWT’s own digital and print newsletters. Depending on the level of sponsorship support, we can also co-brand projects, nature reserves and events with your company logo.
In addition to enabling your chosen project, your sponsorship would include benefits in line with our Wildlife Partnerships, managed according to your needs, and we are happy to discuss the exact nature of your support.
Other ways to work together
Even if you don't feel ready to commit to a partnership, there are so many other ways we can work and engage with you.
Let's start the conversation
A big thank you to all of our existing corporate partners!
All our corporate partners are making a huge difference for wildlife every day and we could not continue our work without their support. They are protecting, restoring and campaigning for Leicestershire and Rutland's wildlife and wild places, and inspiring others in their communities to take action for nature.
