About the event

Prior's Coppice is one of the best woodlands in our counties and this will be one of the first discovery walks led by Senior Reserves Officer.

Priors Coppice is a relic of the Leighfield Forest which once covered large parts of Leicestershire and Rutland.

When you step beneath the trees, you can feel how old this remnant of woodland is. Look out for old coppice stools - the product of centuries of management.

The event is for members only and is limited to numbers due to car parking. Booking is essential.
