Kestrel Award

Kestrel Award is open to Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust Wildlife Watch members aged 8 - 12 years old.

Are you a member over 8 years old?
You can start on Kestrel Award or complete Hedgehog Levels 1-3 then start Kestrel Award - it is up to you.

STEP ONE: Ask your parent/carer to complete the Kestrel Award Pack Request Form below. You'll be sent the pack to the email address submitted.

STEP TWO: Once you have received your Kestrel Award Pack you can get started with the 4 challenges:

Create it!
Record It!
Do it!
Shout about it!

You could keep your evidence of each challenge in a scrapbook with notes, photos, drawings, maps, diary etc.

STEP THREE:
Have each of the 4 challenge sections on the Kestrel Award Card signed by a teacher; youth club leader; Wildlife Trust staff member; or your parent/carer (they sign off 1 challenge only).

STEP FOUR Send a copy of your signed Kestrel Award Card to education@lrwt.org.uk
You'll then receive your certificate to print at home!
(Please note, if you have more than one child who has completed the Kestrel Award, please submit a card for each child).
