About the event

Kate Thorpe, RSPB Reserve Manager

Middleton Lakes is a mosaic of wetlands, meadows and woodland in the heart of the River Tame Valley transformed from previous gravel pits. Kate will talk about the bittern conservation success story in the UK and at Middleton Lakes. She will then give us an overview of wildlife management at the Middleton Lakes RSPB reserve and other conservation successes there.
