About the event

Embark on a winter wildlife walk where nature's beauty transforms under the frost and let the crisp, cool air invigorates your senses. Bare trees stand tall against the winter sky, and the once-hidden wonders of the season reveal themselves in subtle ways—watch for robins perched on frosty branches, listen for the call of owls in the quiet woods, and spot tracks in the snow left by elusive creatures. With the landscape laid bare, you can appreciate the quiet resilience of nature and discover a unique side to wildlife as they adapt to the colder months.

Our Senior Reserves Officer Andy Neilson will lead and guide you through this wonderful reserve in winter.
