Volunteer Hub - Habitat Management Volunteers

Thank you for being one of our Habitat Volunteers. Below you will find a lot of important information, such as contact details, that will help you as you volunteer with us.

A lot of information is stored online on Wildnet and you should have received a log in email that will let you access this. If you have not received this email then please get in contact with the volunteering team volunteering@lrwt.org.uk

Our work parties are (generally) on a Monday, Thursday and Friday from 0930/1000 - 1400/1430. We ask you to bring sensible clothing (ideally long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy footwear, as well as waterproofs (just in case). Please also bring your own refreshments and your lunch; we provide biscuits at break (1100) and lunch time (1300) and extra drinking water. We provide all of the equipment and tools you need for the task we are carrying out and we also have work gloves available, but if you’d prefer to use your own that’s fine too. Please remember to bring your emergency contact card to each session.  

We have a car sharing WhatsApp group to enable volunteers to share lifts to work parties where possible. If you would like to be part of this group, please let Juliette know (jcolaco@lrwt.org.uk).

When attending a work party, please ensure you have both Sarah (07975660656) and Juliette's (07802879682) numbers saved to your phone so that you can easily contact them in case of an emergency.
