Young Osprey Ambassador aims to raise £1,500 for the Rutland Osprey Project

Can you help our Young Osprey Ambassador complete the biggest challenge of his life?

One of our Osprey Ambassadors, Joshua (aged 10) is taking on the biggest challenge of his life and is walking 22.1 miles around Rutland Water to raise money and awareness for the Rutland Osprey Project!

Joshua has been an Osprey Ambassador for one year and is a keen ornithologist. Joshua and his mother, who will be accompanying him on his mission aim to raise enough money to help towards the ongoing work within the Rutland Osprey Project and to encourage other children to learn about conservation and make a difference.

My aim is to raise enough money to help with the ongoing work within the project and to encourage other children to get behind conservation and make a difference.

Ken Davies, our retired and former Osprey Education Officer and author of the 'Ozzy' book series. Has also inspired Joshua to complete his walk, Joshua said

"Ken Davies helped me begin my journey into the project and believes in my ability to help nature thrive, If you could donate, no matter how small, it would be amazing and I would be very very grateful"

Joshua's 'Walk for the Raptors' takes place in less than 2 months! Can you help him with his mission?
